A rendezvous for lovers of plants

Lovers of plants can have a rendezvous they could not think of missing. The Department of Horticulture is organising the 12th Nursery Mela at People’s Plaza on the Necklace Road from August 15 to 19. The exhibition profile covers nurseries, garden tools and accessories, tissue culture plants, horticulture implements and machinery, green house and accessories, bio-fertilizers, seeds, irrigation system, pesticide and fertilizers.

The event also aims at offering a common platform for exchange of ideas and display and sale of plant material apart from popularising different species of ornamental and fruit plants produced by different nurseries in the State.
