"Mission Fire Castle Rescue" comes to help you with your Maths.

For those who would like to play a game rather than take lessons in Mathematics, Miss Karey's CD-ROM has the best of both worlds to offer.
Children in the 10 to 14 years age group can pick up mathematical concepts at their own pace and play the "Mission Fire Castle Rescue" game. Derick, a 10-year-old, is trapped in a castle built by a mathematician. You need to be familiar with mathematical concepts to win the game. Miss Karey teaches you these concepts with animated examples in the virtual classroom.
Algebra, percentage and ratio are some of the topics covered. There are exercises for every topic and a progress report to keep track of your performance. One small drawback is that there is no scratch pad to perform rough calculations. Designed to meet the needs of students of Std. V and VI, this interactive CD also has an exam tool to help teachers/parents test the students. The best test, however, is the game. The moment you rescue Derick from the castle, you can be sure that you have grasped the mathematical concepts.
A free limited version of this CD is available online at www.misskarey.com. Log on and try it out. The full version of the CD is priced Rs. 499. Chithrommedia, Singapore, has developed this product and has entered the Indian market in association with dotCue Technologies, Chennai. For more details, call 9840054849.
