Magic stick for a toned waist


WAIST is the most important area of our body as that is where most of the fat and cellulite tends to get deposited. Special care should be taken in order to avoid that irritatingly ugly fat. And if you thought that only fat people need to concentrate on attaining a toned waistline, then think again.

Even lean and slim people need to watch their waist, as abdominal obesity is rampant across all age groups. This week Md. Naseer shows us how to use a 5 ft stick to knock of the extra fat and acquire a perfectly toned waistline.


Stand upright with feet closed. Balance the stick on your shoulders and spread out your arms on to it. Bend forward and touch your knees with your nose without bending the knees. Come back to position slowly and repeat 20 times (3 sets)

Stand with feet stretched wide. Balance the stick on your shoulders and spread out your arms on to it. Bend to your left and try to touch your leg with the end of the stick. Come back and repeat on the other side. Repeat alternatively 20 times each (3 sets)

Stand with feet apart at shoulder length. Balance the stick on your shoulders and hold the corners of it with your fingers. Turn to your left using your torso and stretch to the maximum. Hold for 5 seconds, come back and repeat on the other side. Repeat alternatively 20 times each (3 sets)

Stand with feet apart at shoulder length. Balance the stick on your shoulders and lock your arms behind your neck. Bend to your left and try to touch your leg with the end of the stick. Come back and repeat on the other side. Repeat alternatively 20 times each (3 sets)

Stand with feet apart at shoulder length. Hold the stick at chest level with both your arms stretched forward. Bend elbows slightly and twist to your left using your torso.


Stretch to the maximum, hold for 5 seconds, come back and repeat on the other side. Repeat alternatively 20 times each (3 sets)

Stand with feet stretched wide apart and balance the stick on your shoulders. Bend forward and touch your left foot with the right hand corner of the stick. Come back and touch your right foot with the left hand corner of the stick. Repeat alternatively 20 times each (3 sets).

Stand with feet stretched wide apart and hold the stick above your head. Bend your elbows slightly, stretch towards your left and touch the floor with the corner of the stick. Come back and repeat on the right side. Repeat alternatively 20 times each (3 sets).
