Taj Connemara is organising The Anglo Indian Food festival from 22nd Oct to 30th Oct at Verandah, Coffee shop. The buffet is for dinner from 7.30 pm onwards and traditional Anglo Indian dishes are prepared. It is unique promotion as the cuisine itself is unique and no hotel in Chennai has a separate Anglo Indian section in their product offering.

Few popular Anglo Indian preparations are mulligatwany soup, southern railway lamb curry, jaldi chicken kebab, colonial style pepper chicken, prawns in green masala curry, brinjal vindaloo, cabbage foogath, coconut rice, coconut custard pie and kul-kuls(dessert).
