Personalise set the trend

THERE are two kinds of people living on the earth. One is the kind that follows the other, and the other is the kind that inspires the first one. Ahem! What is meant is that, there are people who set trends and there are the others follow the trends set. And which self respecting human would agree that he belongs to the latter!? No worries...you aren’t the only one!

Well... to start off the whole cycle of trend setting, the premier step to take is to “personalise” whatever you are dealing with! Giving the “little-things-that-go-unnoticed” (say, your diary, your tees, key chains, business cards, badges, etc) a touch of your personality. If you are skeptical as to how much of a difference it would make to the “trend conscious world”, who cares!! You are being spoken about already!

Personalised tees have been for long associated with Britney Spears and our very own Sania Mirza. Sadly Britney walked away with nothing but critique for her “statement” tees and Sania, well... got her point across, but hardly inspired! The point however is that now, YOU can make your very own tee, with whatever design, statement, colour, etc you fancy! Printo, opposite Amrutha Mall, that’s entered Hyderabad just a few weeks ago, is already creating a rage among identity conscious teens!

Printo promises to give a personalised touch to tees, calenders, diaries, mugs, mouse pads, posters, business cards, and many more such things. What’s so special about this place, you ask? They also design and print single greeting cards, invitation cards, digital photographs, photo cards, etc! Yes, personalization refers not just to a touch of “you” in it, but also to making exclusive copies just for “you”!

Tees are available in different sizes for men, women and kids and charges vary accordingly, ranging from Rs.250 to 500. Event collaterals like tents cards, key chains, danglers, pyramids and badges are available between the range of Rs.3.50 to Rs.35 per piece. Personalised diaries printed with your photo on it or with a company’s logo costs Rs.600 for two pieces. Invitations for birthdays, parties, and poojas can be printed with each invitees name and they charge Rs.200 for 25 invites. Special occasion cards with your loved one’s picture costs Rs.125 (charge varies with the size chosen). Certificates with individual names cost Rs.10 per piece plus Rs.125 is charged for the first copy. Gift max, at Prasads IMAX also offers similar printing services save the “exclusive printing” part. Mugs, clocks, photo stands, etc are printed for prices that you don’t mind paying. While tees can be printed (in bulk) at all those “go straight, turn left, then right” printers, what makes the difference is the standard of print and texture of fabric and Printo solves both these by providing the best of both-print and fabric. This Bangalore based one-stop printing store also provides other basic printing related services like cutting, binding, laminating, photocopying, etc.

It’s about time to get rid off the chagrin that hits you, when you notice the person behind you in the queue is wearing the same tee as you are! Or for that matter even giving your loved one a greeting card available at any gift shop! After all, both you and your loved ones deserve a certain amount of uniqueness!
