Deli 9 has grown from being just a dessert shop to being a favored hang out place especially with the corporate crowd. Our signature coffees, croissants and other eats have become hugely popular with the regulars who come to chill out here” avers Meghna of Deli 9.
The place which was initially famous for its cold cuts, cheeses and other desserts like ice cream and cakes, has now reinvented itself as a chill out place for dessert lovers. “We are now no longer known just for our dessert offerings. People also love our newer additions. It’s all about experimenting and creating a new experience for the customers every single time they walk in. we have been successful in taking bakery eats to new heights with a global perspective” adds Meghna. Festivals like Easter, Christmas and New Year witness a huge demand for cakes, pastries and other goodies at Deli 9. The eatery specializes in dishing out stuff to coincide with the season and flavor. Customers also have an option of customizing their orders to suit the occasion. Talking about the same, Meghna quips “That’s a luxury which very few bakers or confectioners offer. We let the customers choose the pattern, taste, flavor and ingredients. Recently we had delivered a shoe shaped cake on special request.”
An ever changing line of products is the biggest factor contributing to Deli 9’s success according to her. The eatery has just added the famed Gelato from Italy to its line of products. “Gelato the popular Italian dessert is fruit filled, creamy and also healthy. It’s also a major hit with the city” says Meghna. When quizzed about the all time best sellers at Deli 9, she suggests that the list is too long but settles down to name a few.
Foccacia Bread, Black Magic chocolates & cakes, whole wheat bread in several forms and Gelato are some of the hot favorites doing the rounds. So if you too want to indulge your sweet tooth, then head to any of the Deli 9 outlets in Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills and Begumpet.
