Tallest bangle mela


GR Thanga Maligai announced their Bangle Mela - The 'Tallest Bangle Mela', a contest for customers every day across all GRT showrooms. The customer has to produce the bill on purchase of any gold jewelry and take part in the contest. All they have to do is stack up dozens of bangles in a vertical manner in one minute. The one who creates the tallest bangle will be awarded with a gold bangle. Across all GRT showrooms.

New store

Reliance Digital opened its second store at 3rd Avenue, Anna Nagar East. Spread over 9,000 sq feet of store space across three floors, the store offers a choice of over 4,000 products with over 150 international and national brands.

Hotel academy

New fitness centre

Talent contest


The Annual Interschool Talent Contest conducted by the Soroptimist International of Chennai exclusively for students with learning disabilities took place on Sunday, 7th July 2011 at Sir M. Ct. M. Higher Secondary School. Sachika Kumar won the Oratorical Junior Category while Ajat Sharma won in the seniors. R. Kaushiga won in Art, Beginners Category, while Vidyashree won in the sub-juniors and A Rakesh in the juniors and R. Amrutha in the seniors. Ram Srivatsan, Ashvin Prabhakar topped in music.

Viveks opens on OMR


Viveks the consumer and electronics retail brand opened their 14th showroom on OMR, (Old Mahabilipuram Road) at Kandanchavadi.on Friday, August 12.
