Teakwood intercropping

Is intercropping teak trees inside coconut gardens advisable?

Teak trees are generally planted as fence trees. For intercropping inside coconut gardens a minimum distance of about 20 feet has to be maintained between the teak and coconut trees. A better option for intercropping inside coconut gardens would be planting vegetable, fruit and flowering plants.
