Worm infestations

How can I control worm infestations (similar to the ones found in cowdung heaps) in my coconut trees planted about two years ago?

About 2 ml of monocrotophos diluted in one litre of water may be sprayed inside the crown of the trees. Continue treatment till worm infestations cease.
