Cracks on mango tree

Some fluid is found oozing from the cracks on the mango tree. Will this affect the fruit bearing performance of the trees?

You may smear 2gms of carbofuran on the cracks. Dip a sponge in a solution of 10ml of monocrotophos diluted in 10 ml of water and place it inside the crack and cover the crack along with the sponge with wet clay.
