Crumpling of chilli leaves

Why do the leaves of my chilli plants grown in pots get crumpled up after growing to a height of nearly three feet ?

Subhas Biswas
New Delhi

The crumpling or curling is due to chilli leaf curl virus transmitted by thrips. If incidence is at earlier stage it is better to uproot the affected plants. There are now resistant varieties such as Pant C-1. You may keep the pots directly under sunlight.
