Bore well irrigation

I water my plants regularly with bore well water, which is abundant in calcium salts. Will it affect the plant growth?

Jeevalakshmy Arumugham
Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Observe the plant growth. If plant growth is stunted, then keep the bore well water stagnant in a bucket for a day or two and then use it for irrigation. The bore well water may be tested for salts and based on the nature and form of salt, remedial measures should be taken.
