Bud fall in guava

Is there any method to prevent bud fall in my 12-year-old guave trees?

Two split doses of NPK fertilizer must be applied very year during March and October. Spray 1 ml of Planofix hormone diluted in 10 litres of water on the crown of the tree to prevent bud fall.
