FARM QUERIES

Edible fruits

Are the fruits in my table lemon plant grown in a pot edible?

S. Subbulakshmi

Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

The fruits are edible but they may be more acidic than those from normal trees. It is no use keeping a plant of 3 feet height in a pot since it may not get its nutritional requirements fulfilled from the pot. You may transplant it to the soil and provide care to it.
