How many coconut trees can be grown in an acre for high yielding coconuts and is there any varieties in coconut trees for high yield?

Number of trees to be planted in an acre will be around 35 when the distance between two plants is about 10-15 feet. List of recommended and high yielding varieties can be had from the Coconut Research Station or form the Horticultural Officer of your area.
