FARM QUERIES

Tree problem

Is there any method to prevent trees such as neem and banyan from growing on compound walls, as the roots of these plants create cracks on the walls?

S. BOOMINATHAN
Udumalpet, Tamil Nadu

Cut the trees found growing on the compound walls and pour a mixture of 100gm of 2,4-Sodium salt (weedicide) diluted in 50 ml of water over the cut end and on the roots.
