Termite menace

The soil in my garden is red in colour and is severely infested with termites which spoil the growth of the plants. How to control this termite menace?

Pour about 10 ml of Cholorpyriphos diluted in one litre of water in small holes dug in the soil. The holes should be dug about 1x1 feet distance.
