Bat problem

My sapota garden (in about 3 acres) is being attacked by bats especially during night, which consume the fruits. How can I control this menace?

A. Parthasarathy

Dindugal, Tamil Nadu

The trees may be pruned to clear the dense foliage and smoke the dry leaves at the base of the tree during evening time to prevent the bats from attacking the fruits

More flowers

Is there any method to induce profuse flowering of jasmine plants grown in pots?

S. Chandralekha

New Delhi

Jasmine plants grow and flower well when planted in garden soil than in pots. You may spray a mixture of 2ml Dichlorophos and 2gm of Copper oxychloride diluted in one litre of water once over the plants.
