Effective bio pesticide

How to prepare insect, pest repellant from arali seeds (neerium indicum) to use in my vegetable garden?

S. Vijayalakshmi

Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh

The seeds of neeerium indicum (arali in Tamil) plants are good insect and pest repellents. You can powder the seeds and mix about 30 gm of the seeds in 10-12 litres of water along with some khadi soap solution and leave it overnight. The mixture can be sprayed the next day. This acts as an effective control against a wide variety of pests and infestations.
