FARM QUERIES

How to hatch eggs

I have about 3 pairs of geese aged about 2 years in my farm. I find that though the birds lay eggs they do not sit on them to hatch them. Is there any way I can hatch the eggs?

S. Vijay Anand,

Dharwad

If there are a number of eggs you can contact your nearest veterinary college or university for details on incubators. Otherwise you can place the eggs along with those of poultry or turkey eggs to be incubated by the birds themselves.
