Amuda karaisal

What is Amuda karaisal and how to manufacture it?

Suganthy Krishnan

Nellore, Andhra Pradesh

Amuda karaisal is a plant growth promoter. It helps in good growth of plants, flower and fruit yields. It is made by mixing about 1kg of cow dung, one litre of cow’s urine, 25gm of jaggery and one kg of jatropha leaves in a plastic drum. The mixture should be stirred well three times a day and can be used from the third day. The recommended usage is one litre of the mixture diluted in 10 litres of water and sprayed all over the plants. It can also be mixed with the irrigating water and allowed to flow to the roots of the crops.
