Kingfisher bird menace
I am regularly facing kingfisher bird menace in my fish ponds. Is there any practice by farmers to overcome this problem?

A farmer Mr. Navaneethakrishnan in Mettupalayam, Tamil Nadu makes use of fused tubelight bulbs. The bulbs are allowed to float in the water and the farmer says that the birds after seeing the floating lights do not come near the pond.
