Disinvestment in 33 PSUs cleared
The Government today announced disinvestment of its equity in 33 state-owned companies, including privatisation or outright sale of 26 public sector undertakings (PSUs), during the current financial year while leaving the oil and telecom sectors largely untouched.

The nine stowaways of Iranian origin, who had sought political asylum in Europe, were today sent back to Iran following successful negotiations with the international agencies.
