Karnataka Ratna for C.N.R Rao

BANGALORE, MARCH 26. Well-known scientist, Prof. C.N.R. Rao, has
been selected for the Karnataka Ratna award for the year 2000.
A committee headed by the former Chief Justice of the Mysore High
Court, Mr. Nittoor Srinivasa Rao, selected Prof. Rao, who studied
in Kannada medium till high school, for his outstanding
contribution to science.
