PRABHAT SANGEETH is a collection of 5,018 songs in eight languages viz. Bengali, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, English, Angika, Magahi and Maithili. The songs are steeped in devotion and emotion. All the songs selected for the two cassettes have beenpleasantly outfitted with lilting tunes by seer philosopher Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, who is also the author of both the Sanskrit and Hindi lyrics. He is the profounder of Ananda Marga. Durbadal Chatterjee has provided a sensitive orchestral backdrop.

Eminent playback singers such as Suresh Wadkar, Ravindra Sathe, Sadhana Sargam, Kavita Subramanyam and classical singer Arati Anklekar have rendered the songs in Hindi with amazing versatility. The Sanskrit verses have received quality musical expressions from Sonu Nigam, Devaki Pandit, Ravindra Sathe and Kavita Subramanyam.

In the contemporary global scenario where there is a compulsive need for universal peace and brotherhood, the songs of the Prabhat Sangeeth sung so pleasingly in these two volumes do fine- tune the soul.
