By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD, JULY 28. Pakistan and India are likely to discuss dates and venue for the second summit meeting between the Pakistan President, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, and the Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee, when the Foreign Secretaries of the two countries meet on the sidelines of the SAARC standing committee meeting in Colombo on August 9 and 10, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) has reported. The agency claimed that the information was based on information from `reliable Indian sources'.

The Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi, Mr. Ashraf Jehangir Qazi, met the Foreign Secretary, Ms. Chokila Iyer, on Friday and delivered a letter of invitation from Gen. Musharraf. Pakistan had sent the invitation to the External Affairs Minister, Mr. Jaswant Singh, earlier this week.
