By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, OCT. 17. Satyam Computer Services has announced a strategic alliance with Autonomy Corporation plc, a leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise.

Under the agreement, Satyam will offer strategic consulting and systems integration services to architect complete knowledge management solutions that utilise Autonomy's infrastructure technology, according to a release.

Autonomy's software has ability to analyse text, voice and identify and rank the main concepts within it. It can automatically categorise, link, personalise and deliver that information. The technology is used to automate these operations within enterprise information portals, customer relationship management, knowledge management and e-business applications.

Mr. Richard Gaunt, co-founder and CTO of Autonomy Corporation, said the company was expanding into new geographic regions, and Satyam was their first partner in India.
