Shabana is right
Sir, - Ms. Shabana Azmi should be complimented for coming out
strongly against the Shahi Imam and the Taliban supporters in
India. She is right when she says these elements are jeopardising
the interest of Muslims in India.
The unparliamentary language used by Ahmad Bukhari against Ms.
Azmi was shocking beyond words. How on the earth can Bukhari
claim to be a leader of Muslims?
M. K. Nambiar,
Bangalore

Sir, - This relates to the fatwa issued by the jurists of Dar-ul-
Uloom and other Islamic institutions proscribing the sale and
purchase of Anglo-American goods.
I wish that the Muslim terrorist outfits will honour the fatwa
and immediately discard their arms and ammunition, which are
mostly of Anglo-American origin.
A.V. Chandrasekharan,
Chennai
