Corruption galore

Sir, — The arrest of the personal assistant to the Union Minister of State for Finance, Gingee Ramachandran, for allegedly ( taking a bribe ). indicates the alarming growth of corruption and black money. As a result, pension-less citizens are made to bear the high cost of living and reduced interest on deposits. It is time the CBI and the Lokayukta were expanded and made to scan every Government official and Minister.

B.S. Ganesh,
Bangalore
