3 Governors take oath

Patna June 12. The former Judge, M. Rama Jois, was today sworn in 27th Governor of Bihar, while Ved Prakash Marwah and Arvind Dave were sworn in Governors of Jharkhand and Manipur respectively.

The acting Chief Justice of the Patna High Court, Nagendra Rai, administered the oath of office to Mr. Jois at the Raj Bhawan.

Mr. Marwah was administered the oath of office by the Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice Balasubramanayam in Ranchi, while the Guwahati High Court Chief Justice, P.P. Naolekar, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Dave at Imphal. — PTI, UNI
