Undertrial escapes

BANGALORE June 29. Mylu Vegadam, an undertrial, held at the prison in Parappana Agrahara, on the outskirts of the City, escaped from Victoria Hospital on Sunday.

Police said he had been brought to the hospital along with a few other prisoners for a medical check-up at the hospital.

It is not clear how he escaped or for what offence he was being held at the prison.
