Antony's troubles

Sir, — It is heartening that the Kerala Chief Minister, A.K. Antony, has survived a potential political crisis that erupted in the wake of his innocuous remarks on the minority communities. The Congress stalwart, K. Karunakaran, proclaims from the rooftop that he is a loyal and unswerving Congress soldier, but on the other hand he is busy embarrassing his colleague. It is Mr. Karunakaran, rather than the aggrieved minority community leaders, who is gunning for Mr. Antony.

M.V. Ravindran,

Ahmedabad
