Leading the demonstration near Valluvar Kottam here, S. Ramadoss, founder, said the State Government should enact legislation in the wake of the recent Supreme Court judgment and call for an all-party meeting. He urged the Government not to allow collection of capitation fee in any form and said the administration should bear the educational expenses of BC/MBC/SC/ST students and economically-weaker sections if they defaulted on payment. Volunteers carried placards and raised slogans against the levy of exorbitant fees in the colleges.
