BSP splits in M.P.

Bhopal Oct. 30. The Bahujan Samaj Party in Madhya Pradesh today split with its expelled State president, Phool Singh Baraiyya, floating the ``Samta Samaj Party'' that will take on both the Congress and BJP.

He accused the BSP of joining hands with the Congress. As his supporters and he were seen as `obstacles' they were expelled, he alleged. The new party was announced at a press conference here today by Mr. Baraiyaa who was expelled from the BSP on Wednesday.

He said he would be the national president of the new party.
