Will campaign for BJP: Modi

By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI OCT. 30. The Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, said today that he would campaign for the BJP in the State Assembly elections.

"Whatever the party asks me to do I will do, Yes. I am going to visit all the four States", Mr. Modi said in an informal talk with reporters at the Chennai airport on his arrival from Mumbai. Asked whether he would join the protest campaign by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, on the amendments made to Prevention of Terrorism Act, Mr. Modi said the issue was between the Tamil Nadu and the Central Government. "I am sure that the Central Government is capable enough to handle this problem".
