Pakistan is keen on making the SAARC summit a success and has been going out of its way to sort out issues with New Delhi. A spokesman of the Pakistan Foreign Office lost no time in welcoming the letter from Mr. Vajpayee and expressed the hope that it could provide an opportunity for a meaningful interaction. On Thursday, the Pakistan Prime Minister, Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, said the summit would help member-countries come closer and resolve their disputes.
