Back with laurels

TWENTYSEVEN students of Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College, Chennai, are back from Lucknow where they won the first prize for the "Best case study presentation on student-teacher interaction" at the sixth international convention on Students' quality control circles.

The group also won the Juran award (third prize) for a presentation on `Spillage of hot water from DC motors in electrical lab'.

In all 2,400 participants, representing 100 colleges from 20 countries, took part. They made 100 case study presentations. The students of the Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College had one interesting paper to present: Quality concepts in Vedic period. Heady stuff.
