Book on ‘C’ language and Data Structures released
A practice oriented text-book on ‘C’ language and Data Structures, written by Prof. Ramesh Vasappanavara and his two sons Anand and Gautam, has been released recently. The book published by New Age International (P) Limited, New Delhi, provides an exhaustive coverage of Data Structures.
Prof. Ramesh, who is the head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering, has over 30 years of experience in teaching and industry practices in the fields of computer science, algorithm design, networks, soft computing and grid computing.
Anand holds a B. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He is presently a postgraduate researcher at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Gautam, who has done his B. Tech from Andhra University College of Engineering, is at present a postgraduate researcher in embedded systems at BITS Pilani, Rajasthan.
