NIIT ties up with OBC

NIIT has formed a partnership with The Oriental Bank of Commerce to offer loan facilities to students joining NIIT programmes.

As part of the agreement, Oriental Bank of Commerce will offer educational loans of up to Rs 1.24 lakh per student for enrolling in IT career programmes of over one- year duration, including the GNIIT programme as well as the NIIT Engineers series.

The bank also offers affordable EMIs for eligible candidates, along with a free personal accident insurance of up to Rs. 15 lakh.

In addition, the bank offers loans of up to Rs. 2 lakh per student, for executive management programmes from NIIT Imperia, a press release said.
