Genpact on headhunt in Tirupati
SHAKING A LEG: Students of St. Mary's College in Yousufguda, Hyderabad, performing at the college cultural fest `Prerna'.
Genpact Company launched headhunt in Tirupati this week and conducted campus interviews in two colleges. At a placement assistance programme at ICFAI National College for the benefit of students of local degree and PG colleges, three phases of interview were conducted in the form of personal interview, telephonic round and HR round, in which 400 students took part.
According to INC Administrative Officer Srinivas Rao and Placement Coordinator A. V. Nageswara Rao, the selected students were offered an initial monthly salary ranging between Rs.8,000 and Rs.12,000.
At a similar event in Gayatri Degree College, 11 students were picked up with a monthly pay package of Rs.14,000.
It may be noted that three students of the college were selected by CSC recently.

Training programme
The Regional Office of State Archives at Kakatiya University is organising a three-day training programme on ‘Record Management’ from November 26 to 28.
According to Director A.L. Kismat Kumar, the main objective of the training programme is to create awareness among employees about filing system, conservation of records, problems in record keeping and its practical solutions, digitisation, microfilming and computerisation of records, indexing etc among the record keepers.
Kakatiya University Registrar S. Jagannadha Swamy will attend as chief guest at the function on November 26.
