College life offers freedom unlimited but students should not misuse it
|
College life is a milestone in every student’s life, one that is much looked forward to throughout the high school years. This experience can be made wonderful with the right outlook towards all aspects of college life. There is a lot of freedom that we get once we enter college, but one should take care that this new-found joy is not misused and is taken in the right sense. Any misuse will result in tarnishing not only one’s own reputation but also that of the
college.
On Day One in college I made friends from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. I also found that my college had very good teachers, which is important because they help and shape the student’s life. Having taken up journalism, I found the subject to be interesting and challenging too. While students should enjoy college life, they should also make it a point to work hard at their subjects. They should not neglect studies for other activities in college.
Every student’s personality gets enhanced in college. It shapes the kind of person that he/she will grow up to be. But remember, indulging in ragging does not enhance anybody’s personality. It not only destroys the reputation of the person and breeds insecurity in the mind of the newcomers, it also tarnishes the image of the college.
Crucial period
College is a place where every student comes to gain knowledge and to enhance his/her skills. College life is a very crucial period because it decides your future in terms of what you want to do. Life in college, though exciting, teaches the student to be responsible, independent and self-confident. What we learn in college stays with us for the rest of our lives.
It is the duty of every student to work hard and score well. Besides creating a successful academic record, you also get an opportunity to give back to the institution whatever you can. So, besides having fun, focus on your studies and make your family and college proud of who you are!
