Take every opportunity to hone organisational, soft skills

G. RAVIKIRAN

A whole range of activities are being taken up on college campuses these days with the managements keen to provide students to acquire and brush up their organisational and soft skills. From conducting seminars to setting up stalls at youth festivals, the students are getting actively involved in these activities in a bid to personally know what team work, personality development and individual contribution mean to success.

At PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology, they provided a chance to students to come out with novel ideas and showcase their skills in various aspects of making their decennial celebrations a grand success. Their contribution was not just limited to giving impressive cultural programmes, but they set up stalls wherein groups of students displayed their areas of interest.

While some students brought in various modes of entertainment, others engaged themselves in food arrangements. College Convenor Chalasani Dutt and Siddhartha Academy vice-president N. Venkateswarlu aided the students in being involved in all aspects of the celebrations. They commended the cultural coordinators and the staff for providing their expert guidance to the students throughout the programmes.College Principal K. Srinivasu ensured that all the students were involved in some kind of activity or the other. Administrative Officer R. Madhava Rao asserted that only by involving students in activities, it would be possible to enable them and empower them to face future challenges.

The teams participated in various programmes. Applause resounded in the premises throughout these performances.
