SPAES cluster schools

The Society for Promotion of Academic Excellence in Schools (SPAES), founded by Chukka Ramaiah, has come up with a concept of cluster schools.

The cluster schools will overcome the shortage of quality resource persons and utilise them to the maximum benefit of students apart from reducing burden on the member schools. Each such cluster will have three member schools which will appoint a team of teachers and use their services on rotation basis. The brochure was released by Chukka Ramaiah recently.

According to Chandrasekhar Reddy, vice-president, SPAES the idea is to enrich lives by conceptual learning and enable the students to acquire both knowledge and experiences by enhancing life skills to meet the global challenges. It has designed a comprehensive curriculum which integrates STATE, CBSE and ICSE syllabi. It also conducts Teacher Training Workshops regularly apart from conducting Student Enrichment Programme to create an education programme which models appropriate instruction for gifted learners.
