Think positive
N.R. KUMAR
K.B.N. College: Participative spirit is what determines a person’s mindset and his or her abilities to manage a situation well. This will come only when a person has a positive bent of mind and a willingness to help others rather than solely depending on others. One should keep it in mind forever. Otherwise, things will not be as smooth as they would appear to be on their face value.
I have a personal experience when my refusal to participate in a programme deprived me of a good experience. That continued to be a botheration. But I took care ever since not to make another mistake. Yes, the determination not to repeat mistakes will ensure that half the battle is won. Such good attributes should be cultivated in the company of good friends at college.
College life is fascinating and one would always like to go back to that given any small opportunity. It would be boring if there are no fellow young faces coming with their morning sunshine.
Life is dull without the joyful company of other students. We should find myriad ways to enjoy ourselves. We must look for ways how time can be spent together and in a mutually beneficial manner. One should learn useful things at college level itself. It is not enough if we get what we want. See whether what we do contributes to enhancement of life around.
