Law course at IGNOU

The School of Law (SOL) in IGNOU ( www.ignou.ac.in) was established in 2005 with an objective of imparting legal education through Open and Distance Learning. IGNOU will offer the Bachelor of Law (Paralegal Education), a 96-credit programme, from July 2009.

It will have the following courses at the Foundation level: Indian Legal System; Constitutional Law; Family Law; Law and Property Relations; Power, Procedure and Justice; Law of Torts; Jurisprudence; Law, Poverty and Development; Legal Research and Writing; and Environmental Law.
