Oratorio ’08 from July 25
If Barack Obama, the Democrats’ presidential hopeful, couldn’t present his ideals in the fashion he did, McCain would have been competing with Hillary Clinton in coming US presidential race. Senator Obama won the hearts of millions of Americans with his oratory style and a debate that was constructive, open and progressive. History always succumbed to great speeches, expression of the speech dominating its substance.
The Young Orators Club Secunderabad (YOCS), which firmly believes in this concept, is conducting the Oratorio’08, a literary festival, in association with Indian School of Business (ISB) at the school campus on July 25, 26 and 27. Oratorio provides the enthusiasts with an opportunity to express their ideas through various events like debate, multiple round Cambridge-style debate, group discussion, extempore, declamation, and many others.
The Oratorio also has side events such collage, ad campaign, crossword, Sudoku etc. The event organisers are providing boarding and lodging for outstation participants. The Co-ordinators Arjun Reddy and Narayanan Iyengar can be contacted on 098488-32383 and 099085-79785 respectively.
