Certificate courses with IGNOU
The Government Degree College for Women at Hussainialam is jointly conducting certificate courses with Indira Gandhi National Open University from this academic year.Courses will be conducted in Food and Nutrition, Business Skills, Nutrition and Childcare and Computers.
The college has also started B.A., B.Com and B.Sc courses under distance education mode through Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Open University, said a press release.

EFLU
The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) has presented the doctorate degrees to six scholars from the departments of English Literature, English Language Education, and Linguistics and Phonetics upon successful completion of their research.
Ameen Ahmed Abbas Jamous, K. Satyanarayana and Madhuban Mitra were awarded with doctorates for their research on issues related to politics, history, music and caste in literature.
Bashir Ahmad Dar got PhD for his thesis on vowels of English and Kashmiri languages. Vijaya and Sheba Victor obtained the degrees for their work on language education, stated the university in a press release.
