Course in strategic business IT

The Chennai-based City School of Social & Managerial Sciences (CSSMS), a division of Campus Abroad and NCC Education, Manchester, U.K., has launched a PG Diploma Course in ‘Strategic Business IT’ leading to M.Sc. in ‘Strategic Business IT’, awarded by the University of Portsmouth. The course content for the Post Graduate Diploma includes ‘IT – The Next five years / Principles of Enquiry’, ‘Task Management’, ‘S trategic Business Analysis’ and ‘Computer Networking & Management’.

The course content for the M.Sc. degree includes ‘Research Methodology’ and a ‘Dissertation’.

The PG Diploma and the M.Sc. are assessed by coursework and there are no written examinations. Certification will be awarded by NCC Education for PG Diploma and by University of Portsmouth for M.Sc.

The entry requirements are a bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent / a non – IT degree with at least three years work experience in an IT environment, together with some management or supervisory experience. Log on to www.city-schools.com for more details.
