Quiz contest held at Loyola
The Department of Electronics of Andhra Loyola College organised a State level quiz competition and an individual paper presentation on the campus recently. Students of various colleges from all over the State participated. Kavitha Memorial Degree College, Khammam, bagged first prize while PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science stood second and JKC College, Guntur, third.
Lecture
The PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology organised a guest lecture by Defence Electronics Research Laboratory scientist C.V.S. Sastry recently. The topic was embedded systems - technique and technologies.
Nano technology
The PJR CMR College of Engineering and Technology, sponsored by the SKPVV Hindu High Schools’ Committee, organised a seminar on “Nano technology” recently. Vignan Nirula Institute of Technology and Sciences for Women principal Ramji said that nano technology would throw up newer challenges and opportunities in future.
