Masters in law of capital markets

NALSAR Law University (NALSAR) and Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM), two Hyderabad-based premier institutes, are jointly introducing a two-year Masters Degree in Law of Financial Services and Capital Markets from present academic year.

The unique programme will provide conceptual foundation for different financial services such as insurance, banking, mutual funds, security markets and legal aspects related to them, informed Veer Singh, V-C, NALSAR.

“Since this first of its kind programme in the country, we are expecting good job openings for the course graduates and a beginning salary package ranging between Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 6 lakh,” he said.

Vepa Kamesam MD, IIRM said there will be a great demand for the course graduates since there is a dearth for legal experts, who can deal with the regulations of financial markets.

The course will commence from September onwards and classes will be held at NALSAR –LU campus at Barkatpura, Hyderabad. Eligibility is graduation in any discipline with minimum 50 p.c. aggregate marks.

Admission will be given on the basis of performance in personal interview.

Last date for submission of application is July 30 and course fee is Rs. 4 lakh, which can be paid in two instalments. More details can be had on 040-27567955/8 or visit ‘ www.nalsar.ac.in’ or ‘ www.iirmworld.org.in’.
